Parents and Alumni
Parent participation is a critical component in every child’s education. The Smith School encourages parents to be involved in several areas:
- Parent/Teacher conferences
- Day-to-day involvement in at-home assignments
- Periodic review of student’s progress
- On-on-one communication with teachers and school administrators
Every student’s attendance, participation, and progress is closely monitored by the school. This information is communicated to the parents on a regular basis. Parents are strongly encouraged to take an active role in their child’s education.
The Smith School communicates to parents by phone, mail, email, and through its Parents Association.
We encourage connections and involvement with our graduates to participate in and contribute to our school community. The experience and perspective our graduates attain, beyond Smith, offer great value and perspective for our students. Our network of alumni have proven an essential resource in empowering our students with opportunities that advance their educational experience here at
The Smith School.
How alumni contribute to our community:
- College & Career Seminars
- Internship Opportunities
- and much more!
