The Flute is one of the oldest instruments created and can be found in one form or another in nearly every culture in the world. The Boehm flute - the flute we know well today - can be found not only in classical music but also in jazz, rock, folk, and pop. The instrument requires discipline in posture, finger mobility, and most of all, breathing and breath control. The flute produces a lovely, warm, and sweet sound that soars above the colors of other instruments.

Students of all ages and abilities can sign up for Flute lessons and will be paired with a teacher based on level and availability. Students can sign up for private lessons at any time during the year. Lessons are held on a weekly basis. Fees will be pro-rated based on when the student begins lessons.
