American Studies I - this course primarily focuses on the major themes in US History, from prehistoric times to the Civil War. Within this course, students will also be studying the US Constitution, Declaration of Independence, influence of technology throughout the years, US roles in world affairs and the American democracy.

 

American Studies II - this course primarily focuses on the major themes in US History from the Civil War to contemporary America. Within this course, students will explore cultural diversity & geography, while building on the themes in American Studies I of the influence of technology, US role in world affairs and the American democracy system.
